The Death Watch Bunker, Enifoo's Last Stand
Enifoo had stopped by Jabba's palace to see if the Hutt had anything else that needed to be done. His droid directed the Rodian over to the notorious Fett, a man of few words. There Enifoo was informed about the Death Watch, a splinter group of the famed Mandalorians. He'd heard stories about them from his uncle, but never had seen one before.
Boba Fett told Enifoo the location of the bunker, and to report back any information that could be obtained. There were rumors of them dealing with the Black Sun organization, and anything concerning them concerns Jabba. He also gave the Rodian an access card, as well as a warning not to take the Death Watch lightly.
A few shuttle trips later, Enifoo arrived on Endor. Hopping onto his speeder bike, he closed in on the waypoint on his datapad, stopping off a good distance away and sneaking up on it. He could see a structure in the distance, but there seemed to be a massive firefight going on at entrance already. The radar was buzzing with warning, flashing red constantly. Peering through his goggles, he could see faint shapes running for cover, trying to avoid the furious blasts from a couple of Super Battle Droids.
Enifoo gulped. This was going to be tricky. Pulling up his datapad, he punched up a contact code. Several lights lit up, showing him any fellow adventurers in the vicinity. Contacting one, he sent a comm signal and received a reply. They were already further into the bunker, and so Enifoo dashed forward, ducking past otherwise occupied droids. Reaching the front door, he stuck the access card in, unlocking the door and running within quickly, barely missing a stray bolt zipping by his head.
Death Watch guards and Battle Droids were engaged in a furious firefight with other adventurers, but Enifoo bypassed them all, running as quickly as he could past them and down the hallway until he met with the main group. Forming a second group (~10 members) which was to work in tandem with the first (20 members), they gathered into the first large room, trying to secure the area. Security alarms went off, and several more Death Watch guards, Battle Droids, and Super Battle Droids swarmed in, nearly overwhelming us...
Then, the first group found an access guard, quickly jamming it into the terminal and escaping through it. Enifoo's group tried to follow belatedly, but the door slammed shut before us. We were trapped. Turning around to face the oncoming guards, Enifoo quickly barked out orders as the group scattered, taking up defensive positions. The first group had run into problems of their own, running up into more droids and guards further in past the door.
Enifoo screamed into his communicator, requesting help from the first group. "We're getting slaughtered in here, we need backup now!"
"We've got problems of our own! You've got to hold them off until we can get to you." He received as a reply.
"We're gonna die if we don't stay together! Get back here now! That's an order!" Enifoo ducked another bolt, tiny concrete shards pelting his helmet as the wall behind him exploded.
Finally the door behind them opened, and the first group returned, opening fire onto the remaining Battle Droids and sending them sprawling to the ground, sparks dancing around them. One of the group members searched one of the dead Death Watch, finding another keycard.
"Move! Move! Move!" The access card was slid into the terminal, and both groups retreated into the hallway. As the door closed, there was a brief rest...interrupted by another batch of droids coming at us from the other end of the Hall. Enifoo Rallied the group together, and hammers and scythes and fists flew forward, as bolts of acid and energy stabbed out toward the enemy.
"Concentrate all firepower on the Red Droid! We work together, we'll survive!" The droids staggered under our combined assault, and the groups worked our way in further and further, battling our way to a coal processing room. After clearing the droids and Death Watch there, there was a brief period of rest.
Enifoo noticed something gleaming inside one of the coal containers, and he reached in, rummaging out a bit before pulling out a fuel injector tank. Well, that might come in handy later he supposed.
The rest was short lived though, as more droids arrived. Even as they returned fire, the group moved forward, ducking down a hallway and running down the ramp. They found themselves inside a large open cavern, with a shuttle craft sitting off to one side.
"Spread out team! Everyone fire on the silver droid! We'll take them out one at a time!" Nearly 5 Super Battle Droids had followed them into the room, along with a handful of Death Watch and regular Battle Droids. After a massive firefight, they were finally gaining the upper hand, down to only one Super Droid left...
But they had taken too long. Reinforcements arrived and the groups were forced to fall back. Enifoo heard the order go out. "Through that door, hurry! We'll lose them in the hallways!" And before he could object, the group scattered, running for their lives through the door and down the hallway.
With no choice left to him, the Rodian followed, and they ran forward. But the hallways were more confusing to them than the Death Watch. The group became scattered, lost. Finding themselves alone in a dead end, trapped, or ambushed by guards, Enifoo's display showed many members’ life signs blinking out. He could hear their screams over the comm, but he kept running along with the survivors...
And then found themselves in the same room they'd left earlier. Enifoo could see the look of confusion being replaced by horror on his group members as the doors opened up to admit more Droids and Death Watch.
No choice. Enifoo gave the Retreat command. "Run back to the surface! I'll hold them off here!" The Rodian pulled out his T21, even as he shoved one of his group mates toward the door leading to the surface. "Go!" Opening fire, Enifoo scattered his shots across the room, forcing them to focus their attention on him. He ran back, ducking down the opposite hallway, going further into the bunker, drawing the guards after him.
He ran, occasionally firing shots behind him, lost in the corridors. Bolts scorched his armor, and Enifoo stumbled. Limping, he dragged himself to the last door at the hallway...only to find it locked. Propping himself against the wall, he lifted up his rifle as the guards advanced on him. His armor was barely hanging on, most of it in pieces, cracked, scratched, and burned pieces.
The Rodian pointed the rifle at the lead Death Watch. "Come on then..."
