You may have heard of this crazy contest each November, in which writers have one month to churn out a 50,000 word novel. I could explain the idea here, but they've already done so. Granted, this reluctance to renumerate someone else's idea might hurt my shot at the final word count, but I'm trying it anyway. And so are several others on the forum.
