I'm one of the oldest of my group of friends, and they all call me 'kiddo'. Even the ones who aren't twentysomethings yet. It boggles the mind.

In my case, it has everything to do with emotional maturity. I'm pretty much on the bottom of the list.

I guess that explains why people that don't know better (i.e. never seen my face) think I'm between 45 and 85 years old. When I'm actually that old, I'm afraid people will start thinking I'm Yoda old.
