State of the Comic

So, I'm pretty happy with the way the comic has been going lately. It's been an incredibly low-pressure gig, and the only update schedule has been the one that I've set for myself. At one point, I was contemplating moving back to the so-called "Big Leagues" for awhile, but I find that, at least for now, I'm much happier producing the comic in a smaller-scale environment. I'm not forcing anything, the comic isn't getting rushed, and I don't feel like I'm burning out or stressing over it.

That being said, I'm taking a week off from the comic to work on a few things for my portfolio. Also, NaNoWriMo is coming up pretty soon and my neighbor Pat has started a couple of threads about it in the Books and Music forum.

Nick, we want you to stay low stress (because we want more comics ^_^). If you wish to go slug it out in the big leagues, go for it. We will support you either way. If you ask me, I would prefer that you do the comic because you really enjoy doing it and you know that the people you are doing it for are going to appreciate it very much. If you stay small time, you wont get any complaints from me. A comic or two every week is plenty to satisfy me. We all realize that you have other things going on and that you may go a whole week or two without an update. We may wonder where the heck you are and when you get back me may give you grief but ultimately we know that you are not obligated and you have other priorities and we understand that.

So I say, go for the gusto if you wish. Sorry, I am feeling a bit wordy today. ^_^

Just remember what your original update schedule was, MWF (maybe, whenever, and the 14th). It's impossible NOT to stick to it.

Firecar, this is NICK we are talking about. He'd find a way not to.

Well, the F could also stand for first, fourth, fifth, fourteenth, and fifteenth. So there's even some leeway there.

Do what you've gotta do, Nick. =)

Liquid-X, are you also the creator of X-stab mod for RTCW?
